Description
After more than two years of technical development and continuous refinement, I can now proudly present the first chess set of Studio Taboto:
ADAM
The set consists of a total of 34 cast chess pieces in a storage box with chess board. In addition to the core set, each set contains an additional queen of each color, ready for pawn conversions.
The pieces are made of genuine ancient bronze (88% copper, 12% tin), investment cast using the lost form process. The pieces have a distinct texture with silky finish and are coated with a durable protective lacquer.
The chessboard is borderless with a grid size of 50×50 mm. It is made entirely of European oak (natural and smoked). The pieces are contained in a velvety flocked foam inlay.
